There’s much to love about this gem of a site for a London-based web design and development agency. But I want to focus on one tiny element. Note the strong angle created by the ribbon on the homepage. It isn’t much, but the angular visual has a powerful way of adding a dynamic quality to the page; I think if they’d made it horizontal, the site would fall short. Why is it that the seemingly simple design decision like placing a graphic on the diagonal creates such visual interest? Think about it: Everything on the web works at right angles, because that’s the way code works.
