Web-safe type is a hot topic, but we seldom find that a site’s main brand/logo/title has been rendered in live type (usually, it’s a graphic). That’s exactly what you find on oak.is, the site for a Brooklyn, NY-based web design studio. This gorgeous site makes use of beautiful typography, a finely crafted hierarchy and careful application of color. Sites like this are deceptively simple—and so much harder to craft then you’d ever expect.
